TikTok Experience
AKQA partnered with Fanta to launch a first of it’s kind partnership with TikTok. The hypothesis: does visual content change your taste perception. We engaged a neuroscientist to stress test our theory with over 100 participants. The data gathered from the testing experience allowed us to build a custom digital experience with TikTok integration that curated content to the end users and challenged them to try the experience for themselves.
The activation was launched in South Africa with an overwhelming response and has since been introduced additional global markets. As the delivery lead, I was responsible for the success of the program from ideation, research, product development and creative asset production.
